Name that Cocktail! 2019

AHA Staff | Dec 7, 2018

For the seventh year in a row, AHA annual meeting hotels will be offering signature mixed drinks at their bars. The cocktails and mocktails will be available during AHA19 at the Lockwood Restaurant and Potter’s Chicago Burger Bar inside the Palmer House Hilton and at all bars at the Hilton Chicago.

Now it’s up to you to help us give these drinks historically relevant names! Meeting location (Chicago, Illinois) and general historical and scholarly practices are always good starting points. Previous years’ winners have included gems such as Moscow Mueller, the Absinthe-Minded Professor, and Revise and Resubmit.

Submit suggestions for the competition in the comments section on this post below or on Facebook. You can also send us your ideas on Twitter using #AHA19. We will aggregate the suggestions and open voting on December 14. We will relay the winning names to the hotels, who will craft customized cocktails and mocktails for AHA19 attendees to enjoy. Contestants with winning entries will enjoy a complimentary drink at the annual meeting. So put on your thinking caps and send us your best suggestions! Cheers!
