The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History is sponsoring an all-day workshop for K-12 teachers at the AHA’s 2013 annual meeting in New Orleans. The workshop, “Teaching the American Story: Immigration and Migration,” will take place Saturday, January 5th in the Sheraton’s Armstrong Ballroom, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It will feature five sessions, and a keynote address by Donna R. Gabaccia (University of Minnesota) titled, “Teaching Immigration and Migration.”  For more information on the workshop and the featured speakers please visit our online program.

The workshop is free, but you must register to reserve a spot—space is limited.
