By November 1, all members should have received their printed annual meeting Program. The meeting preregistration form was included in the Program mailing and in the October issue of Perspectives and also in this issue (page 14). It should be returned to the headquarters office by December 4.
Hotel reservations must be made through the toll-free number, (800) 535-3336, for U.S. and Canadian participants. Washington metro area and international attendees should call (202) 842-2930. You may call between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern time, Monday through Friday. International attendees may also fax reservation requests to (202) 289-8079 (only international fax requests will be honored). The cutoff date to make reservations is December 14 (December 4 for Omni Shoreham and Days Inn). A standard $100 deposit per room reservation is required, accepted by credit card immediately or by check payment.
Please note that the housing service will process all new, changed, and canceled reservations prior to the cutoff date of December 14 (December 4 for Omni Shoreham and Days Inn). Changes or cancellations before December 14 (December 4 for Omni Shoreham and Days Inn) can be made without penalty. After December 14 (December 4 for Omni Shoreham and Days Inn), all changes or cancellations for existing reservations will be made by the hotel selected. A $10 processing fee is deducted from all cancellations refunded after December 14 (December 4 for Omni Shoreham and Days Inn). The full advance deposit will be forfeited if cancellation is made within three days prior to arrival.
