John McGreevy (Univ. of Notre Dame) replaces Quintard Taylor Jr. (Univ. of Washington) as chair of the roundtable “The Job Hunt” (Session 31) scheduled on Friday, January 3, 2:30–4:30 p.m. in the Hilton Chicago’s Waldorf Room. The session is sponsored by the AHA Professional Division, the AHA Committee for Graduate Students, and the AHA Task Force on Public History (p. 87 in the printed version of the Program).

Session 58, "The Souls of Black Folk after 100 Years: W.E.B. Du Bois and the Twentieth Century” will be held at the Newberry Library. The program incorrectly identifies the street address—the library is located at 60 West Walton Street and can be reached by taxicab or the #22 bus along Dearborn Street. The session is scheduled for Friday, January 3, 2:30–4:30 p.m. (p. 98 in the printed version of the Program)

The correct title of Session 114 is “Gender Ideology, Sexual Violence, and the History of Non-Elite Women’s Private and Public Options in Latin America.” In addition, the title of Kathy Sloan’s (Univ. of Kansas) paper is “Runaway Daughters: Young Women’s Roles in Rapto Cases in Nineteenth-Century Mexico.” The session will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2:30–4:30 p.m. (p. 141 in the printed version of the Program)

Judy Giesberg‘s new affiliation is Villanova University. Giesberg will deliver the paper, “‘Devotion to the Cause of Truth’: Textbooks and the Memory of the U.S. Civil War” in Session 150, “Read the Chapter and Answer the Questions at the End: School Textbooks and the Production of National Consensus,” scheduled in the Private Dining Room 4 of the Hilton Chicago on Sunday, January 5, 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. (p. 167).

Patrizia Gentile (Queen's Univ., Ontario) will not be able to participate in Session 140, "'Contested Queendom': Beauty Culture, Race, and Sexuality in Twentieth-Century North America." The session is scheduled on Sunday, January 5 from 8:30–10:30 a.m. (p. 159 in the printed version of the Program).

Nady Abdal-Ghaffar (Centre d'etudes et documentation economique, juridique et sociale en Caire) will not be able to participate in Session 164, "Defining the Nation from the Edges." The session is scheduled on Sunday, January 5, 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. (p. 172 in the printed version of the Program).

Affiliated Society Session

Guocun Yang (Manchester Community Coll.) was inadvertently omitted as a commentator on Chinese Historians in the United States Session 2, "Redefining the Boundaries of Chinese American History in the United States." The session is scheduled in the Hilton Chicago's Conference Room 4C on Friday, January 3, 2:30–4:30 p.m. (p. 103 in the printed version of the Program).
