Hall Family Papers and Sugar Plantation Records

The Hall Family Papers and Sugar Plantation Records (1709–1835) contain primary source material on the history of the Hall family of England and Jamaica. The collection contains primary source material on 18th and early 19th century Jamaican plantation economy and culture. Documents include slave rolls, wills, correspondence, and data on sugar and rum production. Most documents are dated from the 1720s through the 1840s.
