Gender and Health in Latin America is a long teaching module that includes an informational essay, annotated documents, lesson plans, activities, discussion questions, potential adaptations, guidance on engaging with sources, and essay prompts relating to ten primary sources. This site's focus on women and health may facilitate student insights into some of the characteristics of 20th century Latin American gender systems and into the options and obligations assigned to women.
