Sarah joined the AHA as the managing editor of the American Historical Review in 2022. Previously, she served as the assistant managing editor of the University of Cincinnati Press. She earned her MA in history from the University of Cincinnati, focusing on the history of youth and childhood, and her BA from Texas Tech University. She was the recipient of a 2019 Early Career Fellowship with the Society for Scholarly Publishing and a copyright certificate from HarvardX initiative. Currently, she serves on the Editorial, Design, and Production committee with the Association of University Presses.
