Seth Denbo

Director of Scholarly Communication and Digital Initiatives

Seth oversees the publication department and works on digital projects to enhance the AHA's mission. He earned his PhD from the University of Warwick in the cultural history of 18th-century Britain and has taught in universities in the US and UK. He began his journey into digital humanities as an AHRC fellow on a project on the history of pockets, and he subsequently spend time in the Department for Digital Humanities at King’s College London and at the Maryland Institute for Technology in the Humanities at UMD. Drawing on his experience as a teacher and researcher he played a key role in international digital humanities projects, and also conceived an ongoing seminar in digital history at the Institute of Historical Research in London.
