The Colonial Society of Massachusetts site hosts 91 volumes of Colonial Society publications made available to the public for use online or for free download. The publications largely fall into two categories: transcriptions of original colonial documents and scholarly essays on various facets of early Massachusetts history and culture. Among the transcribed documents are early church records of baptism, marriage, and death; political, economic, and maritime correspondence; and some personal correspondence.
