Grant of the Week: U.S. Professors of the Year Award

AHA Staff | Mar 28, 2008

The U.S. Professors of the Year program recognizes the most outstanding undergraduate instructors in the country—those who excel in teaching and in positively influencing the lives and careers of students. In 2007, there were four national winners and 41 state winners. Three of the state winners were professors of history. National winners receive $5,000 (contributed by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching). Nominations can be made online or through the mail. See the “How to Enter” page on the U.S. Professors of the Year site for more information. Deadline for submissions is April 18, 2008.
