Smithsonian Digital Volunteers: Transcription Center invites the public to explore materials held within the Smithsonian and to play a part in making those collections more accessible. Project themes include African American history, Audio Collections, the Civil War, the Freedmen’s Bureau, Mysteries of the Universe, and World Cultures. A tutorial is included.
