John Carter Brown Library — Digital Collections and Exhibitions

The John Carter Brown Library features an expansive digital collection of maps, documents, political cartoons, images, and manuscripts from the late 15th through the early 19th centuries. The site provides access to scans of over 10,000 books, written in various languages including English, Spanish, French, and Latin. Recent exhibitions focus on the histories of Indigenous populations, women, revolution, enslaved persons, cartography, and print media.
