Cultural Contact in Southern Africa is a World History Commons teaching module that analyzes the actions of 17th- and 18th-century South Africa, Khoikhoi, enslaved, and European women who interacted regularly for economic and social purposes. The site includes teaching strategies, discussion questions, guidance on engaging with the sources, a lesson plan, an annotated bibliography, and essay prompts relating to eleven primary sources.
