The Archives of Ontario is the official repository for the archival records of the Province of Ontario, providing access to records that date back to the 16th century and include hand-written letters, books, maps, architectural drawings, photographs, artwork, films, sound recordings, electronic documents, and more. The site features more than 45 online exhibits on topics like exploration, war, slavery, family life, women, religion, and politics. Links to previous exhibits on similar topics are also available.
