Active History connects the work of historians with the wider public and the importance of the past to current events. In addition to essays, it provides access to more than 165 episodes of the History Slam podcast on a range of subjects primarily on Canadian history but also drawing on Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Asia. Beyond the Lecture: Innovations in Teaching Canadian History is designed for post-secondary teaching and has links to more than 20 features on digital history, assessment, ethics, writing, pedagogy, and more.
