The AHA’s online calendar allows organizations and universities the opportunity to advertise meetings and seminars, research opportunities, awards & fellowships, internet resources, and exhibitions & interpretive resources. Submit an announcement today, through the online form.

Here are some of the latest postings on three sections of the AHA calendar:

Meetings and Seminars

  • Call for Papers: 17th Annual Conference of the Texas Medieval Association
    Abstracts of proposed panels or papers on any medieval topic are due by September 1, 2007 for the Texas Medieval Association annual conference on October 11-13, 2007, at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas.
  • Call for Papers: Peace Movements in the Cold War and Beyond: An International Conference
    Paper proposals due September 1, 2007 for the Peace Movements in the Cold War and Beyond: An International Conference taking place January 31-February 2, 2008 in London, UK.

Research

  • Call for Research Proposals: Advanced German and European Studies
    The Berlin Program for Advanced German and European Studies offers up to one-year of research support at the Freie Universität Berlin.

Awards & Fellowships

  • Betty M. Linsley Award: The Association for the Study of Connecticut History invites nominations for the Betty M. Linsley Award to recognize the best work on a significant aspect of Connecticut’s history. Deadline for nominations: August 31, 2007.
  • N-YHS Patricia Klingenstein Research Fellowships: These New-York Historical Society fellowships have a deadline of September 1, 2007.
  • I Tatti Fellowships: Villa I Tatti in Florence offers up to 15 fellowships each academic year for advanced research in any aspect of the Italian Renaissance.
