Annual Meeting

Accommodations and Transportation

AHA Staff | Oct 1, 1993

The 108th Annual Meeting will be held in San Francisco, California, and headquartered at the San Francisco Hilton and Towers. Blocks of rooms have been reserved at the Hilton, the Parc Fifty Five Hotel, the Hotel Nikko, the Westin St. Francis Hotel, the Galleria Park Hotel, and the Villa Florence Hotel. All hotels are within walking distance of each other. Please see the September issue of Perspectives for detailed hotel information and the Housing Form. Additional forms are also available by contacting the Convention Manager, AHA, 400 A Street, SE, Washington, DC 20003.

All requests for rooms will be filled in order received by the Housing Bureau, so it is recommended you mail your form early to obtain the requested accommodations. You will receive a confirmation directly from the Housing Bureau operated by the San Francisco Convention and Visitors Bureau—you will not receive one from the hotel. All hotels require a deposit to hold your reservation—$125 for singles and doubles, $250 for one-bedroom suites, and $375 for two-bedroom suites. Cancellations or changes should be made in writing to the Housing Bureau address on the confirmation form until December 28; after this date, contact the hotel directly. Rooms are subject to an 11 percent occupancy tax. Cutoff date for the AHA's housing block is December 21; after this date, reservation requests will be filled at the discretion of the hotel according to availability.

The printed Program will reach the membership later this month; the preregistration form is included in the mailing. Additional copies of the preregistration form are available through AHA headquarters by contacting the Convention Manager, AHA, 400 A Street, SE, Washington, DC 20003.
