Like many February issues of Perspectives before it, this month the magazine features numerous articles on the most recent annual meeting. AHA Today covered some main events of the meeting while it was going on, and those posts have been compiled into the Perspectives on History article “The 122nd Annual Meeting: Some Snapshots from AHA Today.” Also see the article by David Darlington, co-manager of the Job Register, “The 2008 Job Register: By The Numbers,” to get the scoop on all the hiring details. Debbie Ann Doyle contributes two articles this month: “Public History at the Annual Meeting” and “Forum on Disability.” And read more about the new Roy Rosenzweig Prize in History and New Media, which was announced at the meeting.

Despite all the annual meeting recaps, the cover of the February issue is of an archive, to draw attention to Robert Townsend and Vernon Horn’s article “AHA Launches Archives Wiki” (also discussed on this blog just yesterday).
