AHA Welcomes New Staff Members

The AHA is pleased to welcome two new staff members. Rosslyn R. Rosser, a student at the University of Maryland Graduate School of Management and Technology, is the executive office administrative assistant. She provides support for the various AHA divisions and standing committees and administers the Association's grants, fellowships, and prizes programs. Rosslyn will also be involved in researching and facilitating AHA efforts in strategic planning and human resource development. With a solid background assisting executives in both private and nonprofit organizations, Rosslyn brings knowledge and experience in administrative management to her new position. She earned her B.A. in political science from the University of Maryland at Baltimore County.

Kevin B. Urrutia is the new assistant to the executive office. He supports the office's many special projects and has been actively involved in preparing for the upcoming annual meeting in Atlanta. In addition, Kevin is the new liaison to the Association's affiliated societies, and he assists with the production of various AHA publications. Kevin's previous experience in working with computers and his willingness to assist others is especially appreciated by his coworkers who are struggling to learn the Association's new computer system. Kevin graduated from George Washington University with a degree in international relations.
