Robert Townsend, editor of the last two editions of the Directory of History Departments and Organizations, has been named editor of Perspectives and managing editor of in-house publications.

Emily Frye, assistant editor of Perspectives since January, has been named associate editor of Perspectives, advertising manager for both Perspectives and the AHR, and manager of the Job Register at the annual meeting.

Roxanne Myers Spencer, pamphlets editor since May 1991, will also edit the 1993-94 edition of the Directory.
