Grant of the Week: 2016 AHA Awards and Prizes

Sadie Bergen | Apr 29, 2016

Every week, AHA Today showcases a new grant, fellowship, or scholarship of interest to historians which has been posted to our free Calendar. This week we are featuring the AHA’s own 2016 awards and prizes.

The Association recognizes a wide variety of distinguished historical work, which can take the form of an exceptional book in the field, distinguished teaching and mentoring in the classroom, and even on film. Since 1896 the Association has conferred over a thousand awards. The names, publications, and projects of those who received these awards are a catalog of the best work produced by the historical profession. The deadline to apply for the 2016 competition is May 15.

The AHA offers a free Calendar advertising awards, meetings, and exhibits. Submit your own announcements to our Calendar.
