Wireless Internet in Atlanta
Planning on bringing your laptop to the 121st Annual Meeting in Atlanta? If so, make sure you check out the map of wireless hot spots in Atlanta on the AHA web site. This interactive map mashup enables users to zoom in and out on locations, as well as change the view from map (street names) to satellite (satellite image) to hybrid (satellite image with an overlay of street names). The map contains the locations of free and for-cost wireless hot spots, as well as the availability and price of Internet access at some of the downtown Atlanta hotels.

The Atlanta wifi map on the AHA website features hot spots closest to the AHA’s Annual Meeting Headquarters (the Hilton Atlanta), but there are dozens of other hot spots scattered throughout Atlanta. For more wireless options in Atlanta check out the Free Wireless article on About.com or visit Ripple Wifi for a more complete list.
