Our nonprofit provides teaching resources on women’s history, and we are in development on a European History textbook that we are hoping to have some help on. We have covered the Crusades from a Christian perspective, but we are hoping a historian out there can contribute information on the Crusade from the Islamic woman’s perspective or the impact on Islamic women. Likewise, we are hoping to build a subchapter on Islamic Spain to avoid a one-dimensional look at white, Christian Spanish history. Even if someone can provide us the foundational knowledge in a paragraph or two and/or identify specific women or groups we should highlight, that would be incredibly helpful.
