The three-day conference provides an opportunity to reflect on the history of colleges and universities in North America and Europe since 1945. Three panels will be designated as a Young Scholars Forum to give doctoral students an opportunity to receive feedback on their work. The conference will bring together scholars from history (history of science, history of education), sociology, science studies, and other fields. Funded by the Volkswagen Foundation.
