The everyday challenges of teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic are compounded in large, multi-section, introductory courses taught by faculty and teaching assistants. Often the main point of contact for students, TAs are on the front lines of dealing with student's emotional, personal, and technological struggles and, like faculty, are adjusting to new instructional formats. The pandemic has made clear just how important coordination and faculty support for TAs is to undergraduate learning and the professional development of graduate teaching assistants.
