How are historians responding to new laws that roll back decades of curricula and censor LGBTQ and racial content in the US and around the world? Join us at this roundtable, where Anita Kurimay (Bryn Mawr Coll.), Wesley Phelps (Univ. of North Texas), Jeremy Young (PEN America), and moderator Claire Potter (New School) will discuss these challenges and what those who are still free to teach and speak can do to support colleagues who are grappling with these new laws. Registration is required.
