About the Award

Established in 2010, these funding programs award grants to scholars engaged in projects studying Congress, politics, or policy issues. The Dole Archive and Special Collections at the Dole Institute of Politics houses Senator Bob Dole’s extensive collections that document his 36-year career in the House and Senate. While in residence, the Research Fellow and Travel Grant awardees will use these collections, which encompass a wide range of legislative, historical, and policy issues.
