Public Book Signing with Michael Livingston and Kelly DeVries ”Society for Military History Distinguished Book Award Winners 2017”
The Institute on World War II and the Human Experience, Department of History, Florida State University and Barnes and Noble Booksellers invite the general public to a book signing of The Battle of Crécy: A Casebook, by the editors Michael Livingston and Kelly DeVries, winners of the Society for Military History’s Distinguished Book Award 2017, on Friday, March 31, 2017, 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at the Barnes and Noble at the St. John’s Town Center, located at 10280 Mid Town Pkwy, Jacksonville, Florida. Michael Livingston is an associate professor of English at the Citadel and Kelly DeVries is a professor of history at Loyola University, Maryland; their book uses documents that have never before been available in English to illuminate one of the most important battles of the medieval world.
This event is part of series of programs open to general public as part of the 84th Annual Meeting of the Society for Military History.
