The Institute on World War II and the Human Experience, Department of History, Florida State University and the Department of History, University of North Florida invite pre-collegiate teachers to attend the 84th Annual Meeting of the Society for Military History at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront, Jacksonville, Florida (March 30-April 2, 2017). Teachers will have the opportunity to attend the meeting on Saturday, April 1, 2017, for the discounted rate of $35. Special registration includes access to a book exhibit featuring over 20 publishers, two coffee breaks, and special lunch discussion moderated by Professor David Silbey of Cornell University focusing on the challenges of integrating military history into the classroom.
