Long- and Short-term Residential Fellowships at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, DC 2017-18

The Folger supports research on all aspects of British and European literary, cultural, political, religious, and social history from the fifteenth through the eighteenth centuries.  The vaults house over 160,000 printed books, 60,000 manuscripts, and 90,000 prints, costumes, drawings, photographs, paintings, and other works of art.  We welcome applications from contingent faculty, archivists and curators, independent scholars, librarians, and artists.  

Apply by 1 November 2016 for long-term fellowships carrying residencies of six to nine months.  Stipends up to $50,000.

Apply by 1 March 2017 for short-term fellowships carrying residencies of one to three months.  Stipends of $2,500 per month.
