The New England Regional Fellowship Consortium (NERFC), a collaboration of twenty-two major cultural agencies, will offer at least eighteen awards in 2017-2018. Each grant will provide a stipend of $5,000 for a total of eight or more weeks of research at three or more participating institutions between June 1, 2017, and May 31, 2018.
Participants: Baker Library, Harvard Business School; Boston Athenaeum; Boston Public Library Rare Books and Collections of Distinction; Colonial Society of Massachusetts; Congregational Library and Archives; Connecticut Historical Society; Francis A. Countway Library of Medicine, Harvard Medical School; Harvard Law School Special Collections; Harvard University Archives; Historic Deerfield; Houghton Library, Harvard University; John Hay Library, Brown University; Maine Historical Society; Massachusetts Historical Society; Mystic Seaport; New England Historic Genealogical Society; New Hampshire Historical Society; Rauner Special Collections Library, Dartmouth College; Rhode Island Historical Society; Schlesinger Library, Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study; Sophia Smith Collection, Smith College; and Vermont Historical Society.
Recipients must visit each institution they list in their application for the amount of time they state, although specific dates may later change.
