Now called AHA Career Contacts at the Annual Meeting, the AHA 11th annual career event will take place on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 12:30–3 p.m.

Historians from a variety of fields—government agencies, military, nonprofits, businesses, colleges and universities, presses, independent scholars, K–12—will speak with students and job candidates about the path to becoming a historian. Mentors can hold informational interviews, display materials about being a historian in their field, or simply be available to talk about their own journey in the historical discipline.
