Between 1974 and 1980, the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act (CETA) provided jobs to 20,000 artists and arts professionals across the country. In this webinar, you will learn about the similarities and differences between the New Deal (1930s) and CETA, the origins of CETA funding for the arts, and how CETA shaped a diverse generation of community engaged artists in the 1970s, many of whom continue to impact the visual and performing arts.
