Shuttle Bus

Your registration includes a free shuttle bus that will circulate between the hotels during meeting hours. Buses will depart every 20 minutes. There will be a dispatcher at each hotel to assist attendees with information. Buses will pick up and drop off passengers from the Hilton Chicago’s 8th Street entrance and the Palmer House Hilton’s Wabash Avenue entrance. ADA-accessible buses will be available.

Airports

Midway International Airport

L train: Orange Line (Normal fare $2.50). Taxis and shuttle bus via Go Airport Express (advance notice is recommended).

O’Hare International Airport

L train: Blue Line (Fare $5). Taxis and shuttle bus via Go Airport Express (advance notice is recommended). If you aren’t carrying much luggage, the Blue Line is often the fastest route from the airport to the Loop.

Public Transit

The Monroe and Jackson (Red Line), Washington/Wabash and Adams/Wabash (Brown, Green, Orange, Pink, and Purple lines), and Monroe (Blue Line) L train stops are within 2 blocks of the Palmer House Hilton.

The closest L train stops to the Hilton Chicago are Harrison (Red Line), LaSalle/Congress (Blue Line), and Harold Washington Library-State/Van Buren (Brown, Orange, Pink, and Purple lines), ranging from 2 to 6 blocks away.

Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) accepts cash, Ventra tickets, and Ventra cards for buses. Only Ventra tickets and cards can be used for L trains. Ventra cards be bought and loaded online, by phone, or at any Ventra card vending machine.

Van Service

Parking

Guest parking is available at both hotels. At the Hilton Chicago, self-parking is $62 and valet parking $75. At the Palmer House Hilton, overnight guests may park in the onsite self-parking garage at 124 South Wabash Street for $55 or across from the hotel in the garage at 55 East Monroe Street for $46. Guests who are not staying in the hotel may park at the Monroe Street garage.
