What were the differences among the English, French, Spanish in thier approaches to the new world?

The Spanish, French, and English all came into the new world in search of instant wealth. Some went to the new world for other reason, but majority went for that particular reason. For example the spanish conquistado Bernal Diaz said he came “to serve god and his majesty,..” The French migrated because of wealth as well as in hopings of converting the Indians to Christianity. The English originally went to to the New World to retrieve land the Elizabeth promised them. The Spanish conquest was mostly on the Carribean Islands, until rumors of gold in mexico caught thier intrest. After a while they conquere Mexico and parts of South America. The Spainards attempted to come together as a empire, but many conquistadores didn’t agree. Eventually, they formedEncomienda System where each conquestwas awarded an Indian village. The Indians work as for them in return for protection. Each Conquest was awarded as many as twenty- three thousand workers. The French was mainly in Canada. The French wanted to export the furs of beavers and other animals. They viewed the Native Americans as economic partners. The French needed the Indian hunters and trappers. The French traders lived with the Native Americans, married Idian women and studied thier cultural. The Frech Catholic Missionaries alos depended on the Indians. The english was the last one’s to come into the new World. Unfortuantely in England they viewed the New World as a paradise. A place where thay wouldn’t have to do any labor. A place where there were no losers. They didn’t know about the sufferings Africans. The French didn’t know about the cultural Diversity of the Native Americans.
