In 1607 the Original settlers were Councells, a Preacher, Gemtlemen, Carpenters, a blacksmith, a Sailer, a Barber, Bricklayers, a Mason, a Taylor, a Drum, Labourers, Boyes, and others with divers. In 1608 the First supply of settlers consisted of a Councell, Gentlemen, a Fueller, Refiners, a Gunner, a Perfumer, Laboures, Tailers, Apothecaries, a Surgeon, a Couper, A tabacco-pipe-maker, A black smith, and others with divers. These Settlers were all coming to the new world in hopes of instant wealth and also to settle. One of the thigns that stand out about both list of setlers is that no women is on the list. I’m sure they went over but they just wasn’t considered important enough to be on the list of Settlers. The kinds of people that were in the majority in the list of the Original Settlers were the gentlemen, then the Labourers, then the Carpenters and blacksmith. In the 1607 list of the first supply of settlers were the Gentlemen, Labourers, Tailors, then Refiners.
