Brandon Morgan

Brandon MorganBrandon Morgan is a full-time, regular instructor of history at Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he teaches Latin American, New Mexican, and American history courses, as well as the Western civilization series. Currently, he is also completing his doctoral dissertation that focuses on the history of the Chihuahua-New Mexico border region as a landscape of violence between 1888 and 1935. At CNM, he serves as a member of the history department assessment team. This team is tasked with generating assessment tools and gathering data on student performance in each of the history courses offered at the institution. His interest in the Tuning Project stems from participation with this team, as well as skills learned from completing the Quality Matters training to become a peer reviewer for online courses. He hopes that Tuning will help him to expand his own efforts at aligning the objectives within his courses with the overall skills that students need to learn as they work to complete the associate’s degree in history at CNM.
