ANNOUNCES
The George L. Mosse Prize FOR 2010

The American Historical Association awards the George L. Mosse Prize annually for an outstanding major work of extraordinary scholarly distinction, creativity, and originality in the intellectual and cultural history of Europe since the Renaissance. This prize was established with funds donated by former students, colleagues, and friends of Dr. Mosse.

Only books of a high scholarly distinction should be submitted. Research accuracy, originality, and literary merit are important selection factors.

Books published between May 1, 2009, and April 30, 2010, are eligible for the award. One copy of each entry must be received by each of the following committee members. Entries must be postmarked by or on May 15, 2010 -- late entries will not be considered.

Please Note: The deadline for submission of entries is May 15, 2010. Entries will not be returned. Recipients will be announced at the January 6-9, 2011 AHA Annual Meeting in Boston.

IMPORTANT! EACH ENTRY MUST BE CLEARLY LABELED "Mosse AWARD ENTRY."
