The 2016 MHA annual meeting will be held at the Peaks Resort and Spa, in Telluride, Colorado, June 9-11, with optional field trips June 9 and 12.  The Program Committee invites propoals for papers, presentations and panels on any aspect of mining history in any era or location from around the world.  Related fields may include science and technology, law and governance, labor and social history, industrial archaelogy, business history, preservation, reclamation and environmental history.  Proposals should be submitted by e-mail, and contain an abstract of no more than 500 words, along with a brief CV that includes address, phone number and contact e-mail.  Deadline for submissions is December 1, 2015.  Send proposals to Duane Smith <smith_d@fortlewis.edu> with a copy to Bill Culver <culverww@plattsburgh.edu>.
