The New Jersey Studies Academic Alliance announces the following awards for 2015. Request nomination guidelines or ask questions of the contact person for each. Note that each has a different nomination deadline.
The Paul A. Stellhorn Undergraduate New Jersey History Award recognizes outstanding undergraduate writing about any topic in New Jersey history. Separate awards for senior theses and seminar or course papers. June 1. Richard Waldron, acrelius@optonline.net.*
The Graduate Student Paper Award recognizes excellence in graduate writing about New Jersey history. It is presented for a paper written by a graduate student that best represents significant research and writing about any aspect of New Jersey history. August 1. Paul Israel, pisrael@rutgers.edu.
Teaching Awards in New Jersey Studies recognize innovation and creativity in teaching New Jersey studies on the elementary, middle, secondary, and college level. October 1. Raymond Frey, freyr@centenarycollege.edu.
