Currently accepting applications (deadline: March 2, 2015) to participate in the NEH Summer Institute: American Muslims: History, Culture, & Politics.
"American Muslims" is an intensive, three-week study focusing upon Muslims in America, their history spanning four centuries in the Untied States, and their current emergence into mainstream American culture and politics. 25 college and university faculty and graduate students will be selected to study with eminent scholars and Muslim contributors to American arts, media, music, and government. Seminars will be supplemented with site visits. Dates: July 13-31, 2015. Stipend: $2,700. Host Institution: The George Washington University.
