Saturday, September 6, 2014. 11am and 2pm. 0-$14. Discover the evolution of water power at Hagley from the water wheel to the steam engine. Experience how the DuPont Company harnessed the power of the Brandywine making black powder for more than 120 years. The tour includes a stop at Hagley’s ongoing turbine restoration project. Be prepared to get wet! The tour is adult- and kid-friendly. Tour involves walking on uneven ground.
