Call for Nominations: SHFG Powell Prize The Society for History in the Federal Government (SHFG) seeks nominations for its 2015 John Wesley Powell Prize for excellence in the field of historic exhibit or display project. The prize commemorates the explorer and federal administrator whose work demonstrated early recognition of the importance of historic preservation and historical display. In 2015, the prize will be awarded to an individual or to principal collaborators for a single major historic exhibit or display project completed in 2013 or 2014. The winner will be announced in the spring of 2015 at the annual meeting of the SHFG.
