If you have just attempted to login, and have been returned to this page, please review the following list of possible problems.

Possible Login Problems

  • You are uncertain of your correct login information. To confirm your user name and password, please return to the login page, and enter the email address that you used when you joined the AHA. If your email address is in our database, your login information will be automatically emailed to you,
  • You incorrectly typed your username and/or ID number.
    Username-should be your last name as it appears on your Perspectives or AHR mailing label. Exclude any prefixes (Mr., Dr., Prof., etc) or suffixes (Jr., Sr., Esquire, etc.).
    Member ID number-enter only the numeric part, exclude any letters that may be attached such as "M" or "FM."
  • New Members with Temporary IDs-
    You should enter only the numeric Temporary ID number that you received when joining. This number is good for 60 days only, after which you should use your permanant ID number (see above).
  • Members who renewed online. See above.
  • You are not currently listed in the membership databases. Your membership may have expired, or you may be a new member, and your data has not yet been entered into the web database. The database is now updated weekly.
  • Your membership may have been placed in "Inactive" status. If you moved recently, or if for any reason the Post Office returned your last mailing, our membership department may have placed your memberhsip on hold until we get a new address. Please contact the membership department.
  • Cookies: Your browser is not set to accept cookies.
  • Your browser must accept cookies to recieve pages that are located in the Member Services section. (For more information, see the AHA Cookie FAQ.
  • Norton Firewall Users: You may have enabled automatic rule creation, and it may have created a rule that is preventing you from succesfully submiting the form data. For more on this, see: More information about disabling the firewall is available from the manufacturer at: http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/
Note: If you have corrected the way that you have entered your login name or password, and are still receiving this message, try hitting the "Reload" or "Refresh" button on your browser, or possibly "Shift" and "Reload" or "Refresh."

If, after following the above, you are still unable to login, please send an email to helpdesk and a member of our staff will attempt to investigate your problem, and return your message within one business day.
