Job Center and Career Fair
Planning for the Job Center and Career Fair at the AHA annual meeting is in full swing. Job Center forms for search committees are now available to reserve rooms and tables for interviewing.
We’re also seeking mentors to volunteer their time for the Career Fair on Saturday, January 4, 1-5 p.m., at the Marriott Wardman Park, Exhibit Hall C. We are inviting historians from a variety of fields—government agencies, military, nonprofits, businesses, colleges and universities, presses, independent scholars, K-12, etc.—to speak with students and job candidates about potential career paths. If you’re interested in helping young historians discover the range of possibilities, please visit the Job Center web page and fill out the form to let us know you'd like to participate.
Spread the word to anyone you think may be interested in this new event! If you have questions, feel free to send us an e-mail.
