Statement of Purpose: To bring Forest and Conversation history to bear on current issues in order to affect the future and improve human welfare. To identify, collect, preserve, interpret and disseminate materials reflective of North American forest and conservation within a global context and to advance research, writing, and appreciation of this history. Affiliated with Duke University.
