• The committees for the Birdsall Prize, the Corey Prize, the Premio del Rey Prize, and the Robinson Prize should not have been included in the list published in the March 2005 issue, because the prizes are not offered in 2005.
  
  
• The National Portrait Gallery is located in the old Patent Office Building and not, as erroneously indicated in the Coalition Column, in the Old Post Office Building.
  
  
• During production, a reference in endnote 1 (in the article, History in the European Academy: Can Everything that Counts Be Counted?) was mistranscribed. It should be Die Zeit.

The errors are regretted and have been corrected in the online version.
