ANNOUNCE
The J. Franklin Jameson Award
In Outstanding Editorial Achievement
FOR 2011
Commencing in 1980, this prize is awarded biennially in odd-numbered years for outstanding achievement in the editing of historical sources. The prize is named in honor of J. Franklin Jameson, a founder of the Association and longtime managing editor of the American Historical Review. There is no monetary prize but the winner will receive a certificate in recognition of the award.
To be eligible for consideration, works must be of a scholarly, historical nature; review/journal editing is ineligible. Books published between May 1, 2009 and April 30, 2011, are eligible for the 2011 award.
One copy of each entry must be received by each of the following committee members. Entries must be postmarked by or on May 17, 2010 to be eligible--late entries will NOT be considered.

The deadline for submission of entries is May 15, 2011.IMPORTANT! EACH ENTRY MUST BE CLEARLY LABELED "Jameson AWARD ENTRY."
